i was really excited when i got my period today, since i was four days late, & it seemed fitting of my life to get impregnanted by some idiot military man who i'm currently not speaking to.

i went downstairs where my mother talked to me about saddam hussein - politics, government, religion, war. things i don't care about anymore.

she tries to motivate me, "but this is your children's future."

& i said, enthralled, "no babies today, bitch!"
