i think i meant to say, "fortune favors the brave."

i think we're hilarious, having a disagreement via AIM away messages & profiles because i told him i couldn't talk to him for awhile. what we do is, one of us puts up a quote on their profile, & then puts up an away message so the little notification thing pops up, & the person ends up reading your profile along with your away message. & then the other person finds a response quote & puts that up.

mine are all about not acting on fear, his all justify it. but then we've both got bush lyrics in our profile at the top, it might as well say, "dear lover, i wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. it's when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway, & you see it through no matter what. you rarely win, but sometimes you do."

but i lost my patience & i think maybe i could have played this one off a little cooler. after about the 6th profile change in an hour, he has up, "Dreams that do come true can be as unsettling as those that don't."

& i went to my profile & said, "only if you're afraid, fucking pansy."
